There are opportunities each month to meet up and enjoy company of others connect with The Enable Movement.
Everyone is welcome to join the walks, including dogs and children.
We meet once a month each time in a different village or town and we walk for 60-90 minutes. The duration and route depends on the walking ability of the group, the ground conditions and the weather. The walk goes ahead whatever the weather.
To make life as easy as possible there is no need to book for the walk, it's free and there is no pressure to walk fast or indeed to complete the full walk. You can do as much or as little of it as you like.
The social aspect is as important as the exercise. I want everyone to feel welcome and at ease.

Year overview
A tradition from my home county of Cork, Nollaig na mBan is celebrated on the 6th January each year. It marks the end of the festive season and is a women's only night out.
A time to get together and mark the end of the Christmas Season.
The Enable Movement hosted 30 women in the Space for All at the beautiful St Mary Magdalen's Church in Shabbington.
The venue for 2025 is yet to be confirmed but the date will definetly be 6th January 2025 so please put that in your diary if you are eligible!
